This patch update was quite a large one, and as a result of this, we\u2019ll be monitoring any game issues very closely over the next couple of weeks. If needed, we\u2019ll patch again quickly for anything broken in the architecture and then if no issues arise, we\u2019ll patch on console in the coming weeks (since this process takes longer than than on PC).\u00a0This is a huge shift in architecture in many areas, meaning we\u2019re hoping to see increased performance, but this may also be responsible for some bugs we couldn\u2019t account for.<\/p>\n

Engine update:<\/b>
\nUnreal Engine has been updated from Unreal Engine 4.8.0 to Unreal Engine 4.13.0<\/p>\n

Puzzle fixes:<\/b>
\nIncluded a fix for the Miners Dry, Church & Miners Vigil (candle puzzle) for projectors that weren\u2019t completing correctly in those area.<\/p>\n

Game fixes:<\/b>
\nSevere culling (assets streaming in) in Pinwheel Harbour and Devlin mine adjusted<\/p>\n

Adjustment to end of extraction animation<\/p>\n

Added extraction rubber banding<\/p>\n

Changed keyboard button prompts to be in red<\/p>\n

Fixed timings on subtitles<\/p>\n

Fixed possible issues with Ether projector puzzles not saving properly<\/p>\n

Removed chances for players getting stuck during extraction sequence
\nAdded additional auto-saves to save player progression more frequently.
\nChanged audio in menu navigation<\/p>\n

Fixed off centre button prompt texts<\/p>\n

Centered item inspect text<\/p>\n

Set subtitles to On by default<\/p>\n

Included spelling corrections in the English subtitles.
\nFixed look sensitivity not saving and made slider more impactful, started mouse with higher sensitivity by default<\/p>\n

Fixed a corrupted save issue that was occurring when the game autosaved by moving between levels
\nSave Game times in some situations weren\u2019t displayed \u2018Played Time\u2019 correctly, as this wasn\u2019t reproducible on our end, we believe a fix has been put in place to rectify this.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
